The BVLC series of brushless DC Motors is intended for less stringent commercial applications. Design features include the integration of less expensive materials with efficient production methods. BVLC motors provide solutions for less stringent applications where the emphasis is on higher volume and reduced cost. In addition, these brushless DC motors include custom features as requested by respective manufacturers.
The SL Montevideo Technology Inc. BVLC Series slotted brushless DC motors use hall sensors for commutation, high starting torque, and variable speed control when used with the appropriate drive electronics. These motors were primarily designed for high volume manufacturing and low unit cost. Modifications to the shaft, winding and mechanical mounting are available for OEM applications and can be available with quick lead times for prototype units when using a standard winding. Custom windings are also available with mechanical modifications to satisfy unique application requirements. These motors can be supplied as framed (housed) or frameless (parts set) units. Integrated or remote drive electronics are also available.
