SL-MTI's Brushless High Performance Servo Series of DC Motors (the BLHP Series) features compact, high power density designs with high torque to inertia ratios, and high operating efficiencies. Brushless Optimized Value Series
SL-MTI's Brushless Optimized Value Series of DC Motors (the BLOV Series) features compact, high power density designs with high torque to inertia ratios, and high operating efficiencies. They are well suited as variable speed drive motors, for powering pumps and compressors as an example. They can also be utilized in many servo position control applications where a moderate amount of detent torque can be tolerated. When required, they can be modified to operate under environmental extremes of temperature, shock and vibration. Generally, they can be adapted to a broad array of stringent aerospace and industrial applications.

SL-MTI's Brushless Value Engineered Series of DC Motors (the BLVE Series) provide a cost effective solution wherever larger envelope dimensions are acceptable for a given power rating, and where environmental conditions are more moderate. They are well suited as variable speed drive motors, for powering pumps and compressors as an example. Generally, they can be adapted to a broad array of less stringent industrial and commercial applications.

SL-MTI's Brushless Medical Series of DC Motors (the BLMD Series) is designed for high performance medical applications. Design features include high torque to inertia ratios, high operating efficiencies, high power densities, and high operating speeds. For medical use, BLMD motors are also designed to withstand autoclave cleaning and sterilization under high steam pressure and temperature conditions. In addition, these motors include custom features as prescribed by respective medical equipment manufacturers. They can be adapted to a broad array of stringent applications.
for limited angle torque applications
The LAT series of brushless DC motors is intended for actuator applications requiring a limited range of rotational movement. Design features include high torque to inertia ratios and high power densities. LAT motors provide a solution where there is a need for high torque and limited rotational movement within an angular range of +/- 30 or +/- 45 degrees.
for integrated assembly applications
The BWM series of integrated brushless DC motors is primarily intended for two applications: The first is where the drive system is to be integrated into the motor housing, to conserve on space and installation expense. The second is where a motor-drive system is to be integrated with a commercially available blower assembly for an air movement application.

BDC motors provide a solution wherever there is a distinct preference for the characteristics of a brush DC motor design - such as inherent control simplicity. Design features include an adherence to military standards, making them suitable for use in both aerospace and military applications.
high frequency AC induction motors
The INM Series of high frequency AC induction motors is intended for aircraft applications utilizing 400 Hz power sources. Design features include both high efficiencies and high power densities to conserve weight. They are designed in accord with military standards, making them suitable for use on both commercial and military aircraft.
Custom Winding Assemblies
Stators, Rotors, Coils
Custom (build to print) winding assemblies are available. Electrical manufacturers are encouraged to subcontract the production of their stators, rotors, and coils to SL-MTI. With a broad array of manufacturing processes, a wide variety of design configurations can be accommodated. With a staff of experienced engineering, quality control, and production personnel, conformance to customers' engineering specifications is assured.
Brushless Down-Hole Series
SL-MTI's Brushless Down-Hole Series of DC Motors (the BLDH Series) is designed for high performance oil industry applications. These include rigorous service in "down-hole" environments where surrounding pressures are 10,000 to 20,000 PSI, and ambient temperatures are 150 Degrees C and above. Design features include high torque to inertia ratios, high operating efficiencies, high power densities, and high operating speeds. In addition, these motors include custom features as required by respective oil industry equipment manufacturers. They can be adapted to a broad array of stringent applications.
